The “great lesson” at the Chicago World’s Fair of 1933-34? Women were wearing the wrong shoes!
Millions of female feet were foolishly shod in fashionable footwear when all the while they should have been wearing Selby Arch Preserver Shoes! All those women taking in the colorful Art Deco sites while paying the “painful penalty” of ill-considered footwear. Somebody even called them “World’s Fair Feet.” Ouch.
