If Chicago’s world-class museums and beautiful parks don’t do it for you, there are always the added “attractions” of making out on a park bench and feeding the squirrels…
Curt Teich & Co. postcards proliferated in the 20th century, best known for their “Greetings From” cards in bold, vivid graphics. Teich (1877–1974) was a printer who immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1896 and opened his printing company in Chicago in 1898. The company archives are now held at the Lake County Discovery Museum. This postcard c1953, via John Chuckman, Chicago Nostalgia.
